Scones

3 cups flour

6 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

75g butter

1 to 1 ½ cups milk

·        Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.

·        Cut butter into flakes and add to flour

·        Add milk and knead.

·        Dust an oven tray with flour and press dough onto it

·        Cut into 12 even size pieces. Leave app. 2cm between scones.

·        Brush tops with milk

·        Bake at 220°C for 10 mins or until brown
