Ramequin

Serves 4

400g white toast

250g Emmenthaler cheese, in slices

3 eggs 

½ l milk

½ tsp salt

pinch white pepper

pinch nutmeg

some butter to grease the oven dish

·      Pre-heat oven, 200°C.

·      Grease a oven dish

·      Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg together.

·      Place cheese and toast into the oven dish (one layer toast follow by cheese. But unlike lasagne not on top but from left to right!)

·      Pour egg-milk mix over it
