Oriental Pasta

Serves 4

5 tbsp Oil500 g Fettuccine
500 g Steak, diced or sliced
1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed
425 g canned tomatoes

2 tbsp Soy sauce

½ tsp Ginger
125 ml Beef stock
1 green pepper, in stripes
1 tbsp flour with 2 tbsp water

•    Brown meat in a wok and set aside.
•    Add onion and garlic into the wok and cook for 2 minutes. → keep stirring
•    Add tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
•    Return meat to pan. Also add soy, ginger and stock. Cover the wok and let simmer for 20 minutes or until meat is cooked.
•    Cook pasta
•    Add peppers and cook for further 5 minutes
•    Add flour water mix to sauce and stir for about a minute or until sauce thickens
•    Drain pasta
