Milchreis Rice pudding

Serves 3

½ l milk

salt

10g butter

½ vanilla pod

1 tsp lemon grind

30g sugar

125g rice pudding

50g butter

30g sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

·      Place milk, a pinch of salt, 10g butter, vanilla pod and 30g sugar in a saucepan and bring to boil.

·      Stir in rice pudding when milk boils.

·      Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 40-45 mins. Do not uncover!!

·      Melt the remaining butter and pour over the rice pudding.

·      Mix 30g sugar and the cinnamon and sprinkle over the rice.
