Lamb Stew

Serves 4

300g diced lamb

2 medium onions, diced

2 carrots, sliced

1 tbsp mustard

300g potatoes

140g tomato puree

450 ml beef stock

100 ml red wine

1 cup peas

salt

pepper

bay leave

paprika

·      Fry onions in a pot.

·      Add meet when onions are clear and brown from both sides.

·      Pour in wine, stock, tomato puree, mustard, salt, pepper, paprika and mix well.

·      Add potatoes and let simmer for 10 mins

·      Now add the carrots and cook for further 15 mins

·      When the sauce has reduced nicely, the potatoes and carrots are soft add the peas. Cook for 5 mins
