Hokey Pokey Biscuits

125g butter

½ cup sugar

1 tsp golden syrup

1 tbsp milk

1½ cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

·      Mix butter, sugar, syrup and milk in a saucepan. Heat until mixture is nearly boiling à stir constantly!

·      Sift flour and baking soda together. And add to the cooled mixture. à stir it well!

·      Roll into balls (not too big, a tablespoon full is enough) and place on ungreased oven tray. Flatten with a fork.

·      Bake at 180°C for 15 to 20 mins or until gold brown.
