Gebackene Schinkenrollen

Serves 1

4 slices ham

2 slices toast, cut into little pieces

½ cup hot milk

2 eggs

½ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp paprika

1 tblsp oil

2 tblsp breadcrumbs

2 tbsp parsley, chopped

2 tbsp chives, chopped

1 tsp stock powder (beef)

·      Place toast in a bowl and pour milk over and let soak for a couple of minutes

·      While bread soaks, spread ham flat out on a chopping board.

·      Now whisk eggs, spices, oil, breadcrumbs, parsley and chives into the toast mix until smooth.

·      Mix stock powder with very little water, and add to the mixture

·      Smear the ham with the mix.

·      Roll up the ham and place on a backing tray. à place the rolls close to each other, so they won’t unroll! Also, a layer of tin foil might help to keep the ham in place.

·      Back in oven until cooked, approximately 20 mins.
