Bratkartoffeln 

1kg boiled potatoes, best a day or two old

5 rashes bacon, sliced and/or diced

1 medium onion

salt

pepper

chives

egg

·      Slice potatoes and shallow fry in oil and butter. Sprinkle some salt over the slices stir through and leave to cook.

·      Cut bacon and add to potatoes when potatoes are golden on one side.

·      Cut the onion and add about 10 mins before the bacon and the potatoes are cook and gold brown.

·      Chopped the chives and stir in with potatoes.

·      Remove potatoes from pan (maybe grate some cheese over the top) and fry the egg.
